Pacific Western Helicopters has provided helicopter charter services in Northern British Columbia and Alberta since 1991. The company’s hangar at the Dease Lake Airport is strategically located in the Stikine Region of British Columbia, a area long recognized for its exceptional mineral wealth and resources.
In December 2014, Pacific Western Helicopters partnered with Lakelse Air Ltd to become the Bear Creek Aviation Group. The companies joined forces to offer more and better services to both of its clients. Together, the helicopter companies offer years of expertise, a range of services, a diverse fleet of aircraft and experienced pilots, and a network of bases across Northern British Columbia.

Peter Lambright, former chief of the Nisga'a Village of Gitwinksihlkw, established Hobiyee Management to ensure the Nisga'a people have opportunities to participate in business opportunities on their ancestral lands. The company’s core objective is to build capacity for Aboriginal persons through partnerships and participation in industrial projects.

The Tahltan Nation Development Corporation is a business corporation owned by the Tahltan Band, Iskut Band and the Tahltan Central Council. TNDC was established in 1985 to enable the Tahltan Nation to fully participate in the economic activities and development occurring within Tahltan traditional territory and to provide employment, training and contracting opportunities to Tahltan members.
